The Accelerated Permit Program allows a qualifying
air pollution source or abatement device to be installed and operated
under a temporary permit to Operate, while the applicant waits for the
formal permit to be issued. Under this program certain types of equipment
can startup on the same day the permit application is filed. The District
issues the formal permit to Operate after the evaluation process is complete.
